WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?
Your consultant will have had a chat with you prior to the survey to determine what aspects of your home and life you want to address. All you have to do regarding the presentation of your house is to present it in the condition in which you normally live. Sometimes the most interesting and rewarding surveys have been in the messiest houses! If your house is over-presented it is not easy for the consultant to determine where the energies of your home may be blocked. The dates of birth of your family members will be needed, along with an accurate floor plan of the house. If you have bought the property within living memory the estate agent may still have a copy of the floor plan on file.
WHAT WILL I RECEIVE
You can expect to receive an illustrated in-depth survey of your home, the occupants and their relationships to it. Suggestions will be made as to who is most suited to which area, which locations are best for work, relaxation or children’s' play, enhancing and draining colour schemes, and, if relevant, outline suggestions relating to the garden if particular external features (such as existing water features) are significant.
Photographs with captions will help to prompt your memory, and make the survey very easy to cross-reference.
If you wish, designs can be produced featuring your favourite objects, locations or children's images and toys. You can see a selection of client images on the Client Artworks
